Do you and your spouse fight over the aquarium?

thats what i should tell my wife... she always asks why i need three tanks... but i recently came to the decision to rid of my freshwater tank to use as a sump/fuge, and keep the nano and make it SW.

 

Stand your ground. Don't give in. You'll be battling for the fairest cause of all. Your hobby. ;D

Nah just kiddin'. It's all about compromise. That's all.

I use tactics like "Where would you want me to put the tank honey?" or "I'll let you choose which room I'll use as the fish room. Would you like to help me decorate it?" Keep'er involved and just give'er a little something back. ;D

 

My wife complains, But the other day she came home with a dogface puffer she bought on her own.... No complaints here... My three year old daughter already knows whe the lfs is everytime we pass by she asks if that were we are going. That's my baby.... :thumb_up: :thumb_up:

 

hey speedy just the other day i mentioned to her "i got big plans for the tank, but i need your help choosing what kinda corals and where to place em" hehe it worked to, but she wants me to get another tank for the sump, instead of getting rid of our FW fish, so i duno im still pondering...

 

I have to remember that for the next time she argues with me.

We have our arguments. But for the most part everything goes smooth. When you have a 2 and a 4 year old who will only watch Finding Nemo and you find them sitting on your bed just watching the fish. ITS REWARDING.. It's is kinda funny when they scream more to go in the fish store than toys R us>!!!!! And they know the owner by name. HMMMM TOO much time at the Fish Store???? never.

 

Funny how we all read this post and it's from way back in 2005. I guess it's a timeless problem LOL
