    Lil update

After measuring the position, placing the XP-Gs (Cool White), and gluing with the thermal adhesive. The adhesive is included in the kit. Just like evolved said, use minimal amount, otherwise it becomes more like an insulate rather than thermal. I just daisy chain soldered the first 12.

Do the same with XP-Es (Royal Blue). And this.

Subsrcibed. If you don't mind, can you detail hanging/mounting steps too.

Nice! I'm looking into buying from rapidled also. Which kit did you purchase? But I was considering buying everything seperately since the company next door to me is an LED manufacturer and sells everything at wholesale price.

I would like to price one out. =]

Will hang this fixture from the ceiling. Also a DIY, since a wire rope is really cheap ($0.26/ft) at Homedepot and flexible.

Waiting for the snow to stop. Been snowing straight from last night. I have to pick up some stuff at Homedepot and Radioshack.

    Thanks!

I bought the Rapid LED's 24 Ultra Premium LED DIY kit but when I placed an order, they didnt have Royal Blue XR-Es (better) in stock, so they upgraded to Royal Blue XP-Es (best) at free of charge. Since I knew I was gonna go manual dimming, I chose Meanwell ELN-60-48D. And of course, the heatsink 23" x 4.25" so Id save shipping cost.
