I was sick and tired of having to get my arm wet in order to fetch the algae clip out of my aquarium everyday so I took a tip from another reefer and expanded on it. I used one of old mag floats and super glued two veggie clips to it. This way my Yellow can have one and the Desjardini.

It works great and now I can put the algae where ever I want and keep them guessing/chasing it.

    Now the Pictures/Video:

Nice idea. I foresee hours of entertainment making them chase that clip around. Good times!

I ended up tying a sting to my clip to keep my clip from sinking after the suction cup let loose. In fact I use the exact same clip you use. I like this idea MUCH BETTER. Will be doing this tonight. Thanks for sharing!

Or you could purchase the Two Little Fishies Veggie Magnet Clip. I use two in the 150 and one in the 92. The clips are a great improvement over these. They do a much better job at holding the sheets.

But at $15.00 per clip + shipping it is not really worth it if you have the extra parts to make this. And you could always buy the TLF non-magnetic clip if it holds the algae better for cheap.
