    Would 1 discus & 1 angelfish in a 36 gallon planted aquarium make a good display tank ?

    How about just the 1 discus in a display tank. Would that work ?

    a display tank - just means having a tank that your happy to have on show in your home

    unlike a frag tank or a breeding tank which may not be as aesthetically pleasing , because they serve a purpose rather just look decorative

    so to answer your question - whatever you are happy to look at in your tank = a good display tank

    One discus would not be happy. they say 1 per 10 gallons. he will slowly die away. Me personally I don't like angels.
