Ok so I cannot get rid of the stuff. I have tried everything running gfo, no lights for 2 days then 4 hours for 2 weeks I have been runing chaeto I tried raising the PH and it just comes back with a vengence every time. I really don't wanna break everything down but it seems thats all there is left. Has anyone successfully beat this stuff?

Siphon up as much as you can prior to turning off the lights while keeping the pH levels high. (Most people drip kalk to do this because pH will go down with the lights off). Keep running your GFO

So now with the addition of the gfo the green algae on the sand is going away but the dino continues to get worse its all over the rocks and the back glass.
