Is it possible to dig up my own base rock? From what I can tell this is the same rock they dig up out from under our homes when pouring the foundation... I live in South Florida, and I free dive but we can't pick rocks from the reef or even the sandy flats.

So where do we get dry rock from in-land?

I ordered my base rock from a quarry in Florida. Just a guess, but look into some down there and you may be able to buy from one and hand select your pieces. Not sure though, but worth a shot.

There are DIY instructions for molding your own rock if it's something you might be interested in.
