I've had some experience with broken aquarium braces due to uneven stands from uneven floors.. I am curious if you have.

Did you have to jack the floor? Or just add[STRIKE] shivs[/STRIKE] oops 'shims' under the stand?

Honestly, no. At some point we'll even out our 29gal, but at this point it shouldn't be that big of an issue.

Absolutely.... I always do. In fact, my current set-up had to be leveled quite a bit. Unfortunately my shims have shifted and my tank is out 1/4" in 4'. It would have bothered me to no end in any of my past tanks.

After the setup of my first tank being on a slant, We re-did the floor and checked all levels...

At my old place, it was slightly uneven. It was a condo, and it was on a slab, so not much we could do about leveling the floor. Right now, and it's second location, my tank is dead even. Didn't really check beforehand either time ;)

I did the same thing Mission did, I checked and shimmed it, but after it was set up, I have about 1/4" in 4' out of level. All I really need to do it take the shims out, but there is no way to do that now. Oh well.

My foundation is way off... so I had to.
Maybe an inch and a half of blocks and shims.
With a big tank it's super important. Tanks will twist over time and almost certainly leak if not level.
