Derasa clam

    what happens if you put the sand dweller Derasa clam on the rock work? Will they hate it? or are they okay on the rocks?

    I don't believe they have the ability to anchor themselves to the rocks so it would most likely be uncomfortable and try to find a way to the sand.

    They should do fine IMO since they will attach their byssal strands to attach to the rock. It isn't til they reach larger sizes that they will rely less on their byssal threads and often do not have them anymore since their size and weight are enough to keep them stable where they reside.
