Denitrator without a sump?

I am so excited that we (my husband and I - mostly my husband:-[) decided to follow all of your directions and make a denitrator. Ta -Da!! I read in one of your posts, Jakerupe I think, that this will work even if I don't have a sump. We thought we had it running but then it quit. We quit as well because it was late in the day. Is there something obvious I have to do differently since I don't have the sump? I appreciate any help.

 

Chris, let me know the rest of your setup, I don't know how to run without a sump and no pump. In the other post I put a possible way to do it but don't know if that will work. Fill me in on your return pump and lines and we can see how to make it work. Tangster can make just about anything work, he'll tell ya, "he's seen it all!" I really think he has too!
