    It's funny you say that petco is actually having their dollar per gallon sale right now. I was going to pick up a 55 gallon and sell my 40 breeder to a friend. But then again I kind of like the width of the 40 breeder.It's much easier to find stand for 55 long.

    I may go with a table from Walmart or Target, or a DIY

    they're having it at my petco too. till the 15th of july i believe. i picked up at 40B came to 47 and change. the stand wont cost more than 30 to build if you make your own.
