I have a Danner Mag-Drive 24 pump. Bought it used with some other equipment. Impeller was shot. Ordered a new one. Reamed the impeller hole (old impeller housing was fused). Just need to assemble.

It is looking to me that I am missing a bearing at the bottom of the pump. Attached pics of all the parts I have.

    Am I?

The impeller should have a black "booty" at both sides. One fits inside the impeller shaft and the other one in the housing cover.

How would that fit into the ceramic bearing? Or did the boot replace the bearings?

the ceramic bearing is the ceramic shaft. propeller rotates on the ceramic shaft. the bootys that luna is talking about is the rubber that fits over the ends of the shaft and into the hole in the housing. it looks like the top booty is in the housing already, you should have one at the bottom also. check the old propeller, it may still be on the shaft.
