damsels dancing and changin color

    i tend to sit and watch my 75g st. more then i do the television these days, i have noticed that my damsels seem to b dancing much like the african cichlids do before mating and was curious if thats what they are doin.... afterwards it appears they find a cave or crevice and hide for a day and then come out? any help

    Yes it sounds like that may be the case this is why I would ever add more then one damsel to a system.. Once they pair off then they will take over a large portion of the system space. and get very defensive and territorial

    i used to breed cichlids so im familar with thier activities and wasn't sure of damsels... Its rather neet to watch as the 3stripes a.k.a footballers try to dance with the electric blues
