So for fun I picked up some Cyclop-Eeze food for my corals and filter feeders. I am having an issue with the food floating to the top of the water and staying there. When I first introduce the food into the tank it stays suspended in the water for about 2 min, then it floats to the top. Has anyone figured out a way to stop this from happening?

Btw, my tank LOVES this stuff!! Even my Pom Pom Crab comes out to eat. My corals love it too! Here are a few pics of my tank gong nuts for it.

The cleaner shrimp stays at the top and grabs all the floating food.

Looks great! I love top down shots! There is nothing that can float on top in my tank, the flow is too great, especially at the surface. How high is your mp 10 mounted? I always like mine as high as possible without pulling an air tornado.

I don't, I put it in a bottle and shake it up pretty good.

i put it in a bottle with tank water and shake it for one minute. This keeps most of it from floating on the surface.

Frozen or wafer? I bought the wafer (flake) stuff and no matter the amount of surface flow it still floats-lol. But if I soak it for about 20 minutes it will then sink, sometimes.

It's freeze dried, Ill try soaking it for 30 min before I feed again.

Since 11:47am my cleaner shrimp is still fishing for that stuff on the surface.
