Looking to upgrade my stock lights to either the 25w Fluval sea or the 24" current USA Orbit fixture. Any feedback on either?

Is this for a reef? Both lights are essentially useless for corals.

Yes for a Nuvo 16. I currently have 2 of the Skkye 8w 14k LEDs running.

The current setup might support LPS in the type of tank you have, way better than fluval for sure. I would just get a full spectrum unit online and call it a day if you want led lights

So far the corals look good, better than they did in the OP tank. I just wanted something that is easier to pull off and work in the tank. Figured i would use the Skkye fixtures in the frag tank

Any specific light suggestions for under 275?

I hear ok things about the orbit. As long as the tank is shallow and you're doing a softy/lps tank. Something with lower light requirements. This is what I have picked up from my reading anyway
