    hmm, hey can you help me out? I have some extremely dumb quesions. What is SPS, and all those abbreviations?

    Also what type of coral is that one above SPS, etc. wise?

    sps is short for small poylped stony and i guess you would say that lps (large polyped stony) would be above the sps as far of ease of care. then it goes to the zoas and soft corals. any other abreviations you are thinking of?

    not zoos, zoas, "zoos" is considered improper they are called zoanthids, and are considered polyps or sea mats

    So "zoos" and "Zoas" are the same term?
