I bought a used 200 gallon Marineland Deep Dimension. It had been used 3 days for a show. It was pretty dirty when I bought it, sand and dried water on all the panes of glass. Today I was cleaning it off and there appear to be scratches or cracks on each of the short ends.

I'm attaching pictures, but they are kind of hard to see. I can feel the ridge only on the inside of the tank. I'm not sure if they are cracks or scratches. They also don't originate at any seams or edges, they start and end in the middle of a glass area.

I haven't had anything in this tank yet, not even water tested, as I don't have all of the equipment yet.

    How concerned should I be?

these are definitely just scratches and will luckily most likely disappear in water. if they were cracks they would be hair thin lines but these look thick to me. also they are towards the top of that tank so they dont receive as much pressure but still be careful!

I had a tank crack before. For me the best way i could describe it is if you look at the crack at a 45° angle the visual of the crack extends the thickness of the glass. A scratch will only appear hair line at an angle. Well at least thats my experience with it.
