Unresolved Crab in filter.

My sally light foot is stuck on the innerwall of my bio cube and I can't get him out. He is in such a small hole I don't know if he can get out himself but I don't want him to starve in there. any suggestions? :-/

 

Are you sure he's stuck and not just hanging out in that spot?

 

yeaaa he is stuck.... he has been in there for a week now. I couldn't get him out so I decided to let himself try to get out of the hole. There is no possible way he can return to the tank without my help.

 

Which chamber is he stuck in? Chamber 1?

 

He is in the side of the wall where there is a hole to show the min and max amount of water. Next to the bio ball chamber where the filter pump is...

You could try building a little bucket (with a handle) out of some random plastics (chop sticks/disposable knives for the handle), crazy gluing it together, and using it to scoop him up and out of the compartment.

 

PLEASE post pictures of a bucket made out of chopsticks!

 

nothing will fit in that compartment I tried putting a paperclip down there just to see if it would get him moving and out but its literally not even half an inch thick. I don't even know how it got itself in there! im thinking maybe coaxing it out with some food... I just dunno.

 

Do you have a camera to take a pic of where he is? If I can see, I can figure out a plan.

 

I'll go try its dark but Ive been using a flash light to even see if he is still alive.
