Many coral species have a specific type of crab that will live with in their branches in a symbiotic relationship the crab will fend off attackers on the coral by different predators like fish . But when In doubt yes get rid of them I had one yesterday in a coral that I had never seen and was not a 100% sure what type it was so on the floor it went..
