Cottonball lookin thing???

    Today i was looking at my Frogspawn and saw this white little cottonball looking thing on it. i think it is a fungus, because it certainly doesn't look like worms. it's located just below the "pulp" of the coral.

    Yeah, hard without a pic. Wild guess, a sponge. That's what cotton ball lookin things usually are, anyway.

    When you said growing below the "pulp", I thought you meant below the flesh. I think you meant polyp?? Again, a picture would really help.

    Might be a sponge of some sort.

    Okay it's a sponge so my next question is, is it harmful to my frogspawn?

    I really don't know. I would say know unless it starts to overgrow the frogspawn.
