Correct T5 light height?

    how can I tell if my t5 lights are to close to my tank? I had to move my birdsnest all the way to the bottom of my 75gal its 48x18x21 its finally starting to recover it was bleaching at the top.

    My lights are 7" above the water and I need to keep my birdnests, montiporas, LPS and softies in the middle to bottom of the tank.

    Okay so about the same height as mine, i put my birdsnest frag all the way in the bottom with high flow next to my devils hand(this is a week old pic) moved that already.

    In my opinon, I wouldn't think that your lights are to low to the tank. Some corals need less intense light than others. Remember, you have to put your corals where they are happy, not where you are happy. I hope this helps
