    Yes its lava rock. My levels are perfect so far and my crabs seem to like it so it seems to be fine.

    Might be fine now but over time fits most likely going to leach heavy metals into the water do a Google search

    I hard a lot of good but more bad. So i guess ill remove it but its hard to find good dry rock and i dont want to order it and have to pay the shipping cost .

    Lava rock is okay if its already been in conditions to leach most pollutants out, which is mostly naturally harvested/heavily weathered lava rock. So basically you should usually avoid it. You can make your own dry rock using concrete, limestone gravel, and sand. Its cheap and there are lots of how to guides online.

    Leave it there for a couple days, then try moving it up higher. You will easily tell after a day or two where it is happier :)

    There's a bunch of places online that have great dry rock online with shipping included. I forgot where I got my last batch but Marco rocks has fifty lbs for 109 shipped
