+1 xenia without a plug or rock. Mine looks just like that. Rubber-band it to a fist sized rock, and keep it from getting on the rest of your rockwork. That size rock will give it some room to grow but you can easily move it off the rest of your rocks in case it gets close.

I took a pic with the lights on and off. This is my first coral and i really have no clue as to where is the best place to put it. I had it on a rock but it moved overnight. Don't know how but it is now on my sandbed. Hopefully this pic will help.

That is my fish tank if you want to see how the rock work is and where the best place i can put it at.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
In those images I agree it does look like Xenia.

Low in the tank initially with mod to low flow.

So is it good where it is at or should i move it back to one of the rocks? And do they move on their own?

No they do not move on their own.

I would let it acclimate in an area that is not intense direct light but not shaded.

It's any ones guess with Xenia, it is a strange coral.

In my 55, Xenia does best with moderate to strong light, moderate to low flow. I have some in lower lighting, higher flow and it is not growing and does not open up nearly as much as where it has good lighting and less flow.

Hard to tell from pic but is that lava rock? Not very good for a reef tank if so...

It seems to be opening up where it is at. So i guess ill let it stay there or should i put it in the place where i want it to start to reproduce at?
