Coral

I am new to salt water tanks and i have no idea about corals. Can someone give me general info about corals? Do all corals need to be on rocks? Do corals breed to make other corals? Where is the best place to put corals? How do I maintain coral? Any info will be helpful. I am setting up my tank and i have a 36 gallon bow front with 40lbs of live sand and 10lbs of of live rock. I want to know about coral now while my tank is still new so i wont have to make changes.

 

All corals are different and require there own care. They best thing is to just research and look what is the best for you. the easier corals to take care of are the soft corals. Here is a link that has good info on corals Aquarium Corals and Live Rock Species Profiles
