I'd get that cyano under control before buying more coral. It can cover corals and kill it

Hey there, it's me, Todd from WRS.

I don't feed any of my 60+ different type od coral anything. NOt directly anyways.
They mainly need light, and some nutrients in the water column.
They mostly need a stable, correct parameter environment to grow well also.

In order of ease to keep, or how tolerant they are of conditions are:
Softies, Lps, and sps- in general that is.

LIke I said, you should stop byu and see what you might want, and we'll see what we can do. LIke my post said, maybe a trade for some good beer for some good frags.
You can also watch my short DT vid to get an idea, that one is several months old

+1^ I would take the opportunity to clean up sand bed, also maybe invest in a phosban reactor, not expensive, works great and keeps phosphate at 0.;)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
So the tank is about 1.5 old?

Do you want soft or stony corals?

    What lighting type please?

Xenia may not add a ton of color, but it may do very well in your tank and Xenia adds a lot of movement.

Go to this link and look around

My only advice is try not to get corals that are too exotic or ones that require frequent supplemental feedings like the NPS corals.

I have a couple purple frilly mushrooms that I really like. They seem pretty hardy to me.
