When I sent that home with you on Sunday I told you to put it on the side not directly under the halide Mid tank and if you put it under the halide you needed to shade it because the tank it was displayed in is just standard fluorescent actinic bulbs. If you put it under the Halide without shade the change from low light to really High light will bleach it. It looks like it is opening as expected just shade it a little or move it further from the halide.

good luck with it. flowerpots are hit or miss corals and can be very hard to keep. most are lucky if they have them 6 months but if it does well there are some tanks out there that they survive for years. in captivity they have a hi mortality rate in most aquariums.

i tried one but mine was one that didnt make it hopefully you will have luck with yours

    here was mine
    flowerpot
