i was told that you can increase the health of zoas and palys by fragging is this true with sps like i i frag a stylo would it increase the health

 

In my opinion that is only true with a coral that is already established in your system for a good while. With a new smaller frag that is having some difficulty acclimating to a new system or lighting, fragging would be the last thing I would do unless the corals was so compromised that it's death was inevitable.

Corals can take months to complete acclimate, especially in newer systems. You are not going to see the final coloration for sometime if the frag has lost some of it's coloration.

Patience.
