    Hi All,

What do you use to glue down your corals? Any particular brands? Anything I can pick up at the home depot or Lowes (Which are much closer then my LFS ;) )

    Thanks

You can use Super GLue Gel, but for corals mounted on rubble I use the AquaStick epoxy.

The super glue will not hurt anything though right? I would like to use the epoxy, but if I can not find it locally, I need a plan B. I don't have time to order it on line. My concern is the chemicals in the glue messing up my water. Do I need to add extra carbon or anything like that when I do this?

    Thanks!!

I've never once had a problem with the chemicals going into the water. In fact, the superglue will set faster under saltwater than in the air.

Any idea how long crazy glue takes to cure under water?

I use the superglue gel for my frags, and all you do is apply it and then when you place it where you want it, move it around to spread the gel a little, and then hold it for about 20 seconds. This works for me!!

    I use IC-Gel from www.bsiadhesives.com

It's the best gel I've used yet, and belive me, I've used em all :D Just bought 30x 20 gram tubes (part of a 500 count order). Can you tell my friends and I love the stuff ;) My friends coral farm (Tonga) picked up a few hundred them recently.
