Btw my "feed them" comment on was meant as a joke, not as sarcasm. I might have PM'd that to you but I think some people take things a little too serious and could lighten up a little. *Shrug*

If your gonna try it, put the silverside in with the lights off, wait an hour or so and turn them on - if you have as many as I do, it will be covered! It usually takes them no time to consume either

some people will tell you it's OK to keep the light on in the fuge for 24hr cycle but I think it's better to do opposite cycle with the display lights. I can't give you an answer as to why (dont remember the reason although I think it had to do with the PH drop) so maybe someone else will chime in

I heard the same, and plan on going the reverse cycle, but right now I am having issues with lighting ( not sufficient ) and the fuge is doing better with 24 hr cycle ( using 2 5500k lights ) My fuge is a 30 galloon Hex so depth is an issue. I have lots of copepods all over inside the glass but the plants aren't as healthy....I think its called sawgrass ...getting some cheato to add soon.

I added copepods to prepare for a mandarin in the future.

Can you see copepods with the naked eye. Also you really need copepods thriving for a mandrian
