I'm still new to the forums and to the salt water community I'd love to hear everybody's thoughts on Copepods. I've recently seeded my refuge and i have a TON of them in my tank and this prompted me to ask is it possible to have to many?

nah, they'll self regulate themselves, as food comes and goes, so will there enemies/predators, and so on and so forth, the first year of a reef is especially neat to watch all the biodiversity come and go. congrats though, a lot of pods is a good sign of tank health;)

Most of them are seeded by me about a week ago. I seeded tiger pods but have a a lot of these little white start lookin things that resemble a jelly fish sorta on my glass. I assume they are regular copepods.

there ya go then, mini pineapple sponges, they'll be around for a month or so, then usually fade away. If ya don't like them clean them up. If ya don't mind them let them be, harmless, just can get annoying if they are happy.

Did you start your tank with live rock or sand?

The one at the top right corner of the pic looks like a hydroid jellyfish. The one dead center, though, I'm clueless. Possibly another hydrozoan? Doesn't appear to be a pod or sponge.

I did start with some live rock. How could it be Jellyfish is this a good thing or do I need to figure out how to get rid of them?
