    Hey guys,

My puffer hasn't eaten in 3-4 days.
Has tried to eat once, but ended up chewing the meat and spitting it out. But usually ignores food.
I can see how this is my fault as his diet consists of mainly shrimp, he rejects most snails, crab, seaweed, squid, fish, krill, etc. Really picky puffer.

I looked online and saw three methods so far:

    Feeding Peas
    Wait it out
Putting him in a QT with epsom salts

Wanted to ask you guys what you think is best before i started anything

If anyone comes across this forum with the same question...

    Peas worked well.
Dont feed the shell of the peas.. and make sure to wash them out
but for some reason peas is the only thing he wants to eat now..

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Hmm

I know in Hawaii before it was illegal I used to feed wild procupine fish frozen peas all the time when diving, they love it big time, but naturalist complained and you can no longer do so. They stated it was bad for the fish, why I do not know.

When I kept them I feed Sea Urchin roe, and a whole host of other things. For the most part they were not picky and ate just about any thing that fell in the tank, sometimes that included smaller fish.

Perhaps PM members Incognito or Schmekel (sp) or Inwall aka moderator Curt.

Seems like it would need some meat types of protein.
