I had an outbreak of these snails most of them are very tiny. If I'm right that they are collinistas they are just algae eaters right?

I have these in my tank too. I've been trying to figure out what they were for the past week without much luck.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I thought pagojoe posted that they are very similar to Collinista. I have always had them and never had an issue with them.

They seem to be good for your tank so no worries.

    Definitely Collonista sp.

They're great little snails, and will propagate nicely assuming they have sufficient food. Their population will wax and wane in response to the availability of food (algae).

You can share between your tanks or with your friends...just add a "starter" group of about six snails.
