Clownfish with Mouth Wide Open?

    I've had my ocellaris clownfish for some time already- about 2-3 months. Recently he hasn't been eating much and his mouth his been wide open for about a week now. He also has like a red pimple-looking sore on his chin. Water parameters are fine; anyone know what I should do?

    How much are you feeding him? it could be a parasite...if you could..try and post a pic.

    What is it hosting? My maroon clown hosted my bubble coral and got stung from it a lot, this made a red bump on his chin like you describe.

    I don't have any anemones, and my corals are just frags, so that's not the case

    I'll try and post a pic but I'm not overfeeding; I always feed the same amount everyday, so I don't know why it's different now.

    Ok so now my clownfish is hiding; he never hid AT ALL before this happened. The thing on his chin has gotten bigger and redder, and his mouth is like completely wide open. What the hell?

    I'm not asking about anemones. Specifically, corals. My maroon hosted my bubble coral, which, in turn, caused a big white bump on his chin from being stung.

    yeah thats what I'm saying my clownfish doesn't touch ANY of my corals. He never has; I've had those corals for like a month and a bump never appeared until 5 days ago. He evn tried to eat today but he just culdnt get any food through to his mouth
