    You should never mix different clown species. It never works long term. You could try to do another pair. Ocellaris aren't that expensive. Try getting one that is much smaller than your female clown.

    if they were both small when they were added they got to the point where they are determining dominance where the most dominant will become the female. if its real bad i go with the advice of getting a smaller one but at first he may get beat up on but it should pass. with my clowns for the first week the female beat the heck outta the male i thought she was going to kill him but she finally chilled out and they are a happy little pair now
