Unresolved Clown Goby Missing

Double check the flooring in a 15ft radius or so (you'd be surprised how far fish jump and where they might flop afterward). If he jumped out, he could still be alive. I've heard of corys being rescued after several hours of being out of a tank.

 

Ok water cleared up. So searching again.. I popped the hood and bam there he was. NO clue how he is getting in there. This time I was able to get him and put him back in the tank and he is hiding again. I hope he stays in the tank this time...

 

LOL you are going to have serious fun keeping the fish in the display side. It is either jumping over the edge or squeezing between the grills.

 

Seriously. I have never had an issue before. Hopefully he stays put

You never know. I had some pygmy corydorus catfish find their way in to the back area on my 8 gallon biocube. Where there is a will there is a way.

 

I had a green clown goby in my 90 gallon that I saw maybe three times in the 8 months I had him. He never came out! Poor little bugger died - I assume it's because he could only live so long on pods alone.

Hope your goby starts staying in the tank and stops hiding so much!

 

Thanks Everyone.. I put on my protein skimmer over the filter so if he was squeezing though hopefully this will put an end to that..

 

Good idea, hope he stays in the display
