    will they grow all the way to the surface? I know they grow really fast. Do they have a max hight?

    Not really, i have not had much experience with them besides the blue cloves which spread like GSP in a way..I know they grow tall, but i would say they could possibly reach the surface in a matter of time, may take a while but they may get there..

    I had them at the top of tank with a old light. I put the new lights in and in a matter of days I had to move them to the bottom of the tank because they were about to be sucked into the skimmer. There now at the bottom and reaching for the top haha.

    Im not sure about cutting them, but search up fragging clove polyps on youtube or google and see if you find anything about basically cutting them in half..But i cant tell you if its okay to do or not.
