Just wondering other people's expierience with clove polyps, do they have the tendency to take over a tank like GSP's? I love the look but not sure I want the landscaping job...

There a few types of Clove Polyps not many are invasive, perhaps post an image and we give you a better answer.

I personally like GSP, I like how it looks like grass blowing in the breeze but thats just me lol

others can't stand it because it can get out of hand as far as growth goes

    ^ Sarcasm.

They are not something I would introduce to my tank again. I thought it would be so cool to have the back wall completely covered in GSP, well it was for about 3 months and then a major pain to remove.

For a tank that is completely a soft coral tank maybe, but if you want to keep stony corals it may not be such a good idea.

I am sure many with big tanks have no problem with them but cloves can be very invasive. Unless you are one to do a lot of consistent maintenance and monitoring of GSP growth than beware.

These are beautiful! As long as they don't grow as fast as gsp!

I did't feel the sarcasm, LOL. My tank isn't very large (36 bow) and I would like to introduce some SPS' in the future (in love with bird's nest) once my tank gets older. I can see what you mean about them maybe chocking out the stony coral.
