closed polyps?

    bought a clove polyps from lfs (about 12 polyps). 1st day, about 6 of them opened up. day after one stayed open while others opened up a little then just stayed inside the stolon. is this normal?

    how long have they been in there now? Probably just getting used to their new environment, can you post any of your water parameters?

    ph 8.2, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate, 12 dkh, 600 cal, phosphate at .05 had them for only couple of days.

    also have gsp, mushrooms, zoos doing ok

    at the lfs it was under t5s...my set up is pc 65 gal tank 260 watts total

    Maybe just getting used to the new water and lighting, give them a few days, and also you could have something over them if they don't perk up , gently blast a turkey baster over them to remove any debri, your calcium is a little high, a good level would be 380 to 450, your phosphates, 0.3 or less, to inhibit algae growth, the lights should be good for those corals, although some you may have to put higher in the tank,
