After reading many opinions on rinsing the fish food before it is put in the tank I have decided to take up the practice myself.

I began to look around the kitchen for appropriate strainers and I found the Perfect tool.

My wife's Tea Strainer (used for her Grandmother :devil1: ). So:

Some RO/DI water for the soak / Defrost cycle

    Insert a frozen Food cube

Soak it for a few minutes

A good rinse under the RO/DI faucet

You could just use a brine shrimp net as well, probably cheaper and less likely to contain something meant for human consumption, BUT good point anyway!

    Happy feeding!

This traps the food so I can soak it in the little cup with no Loss. Cleaning it is a breeze too. I won't be using it for tea anymore silly. :p

I use a brine shrimp net too, like Dr. Frag said. It works great.
