Just for future reference do not mix a Coral Banded shrimp with a Cleaner Shrimp as the Banded will probably attack it. Next a Cleaner shrimp/Goby will not help your fish get rid of Ich. At the most it may remove some of the dead skin caused by the parasite. The spots you actually see are not the parasite but rather the iratation of its flesh. The parasite burrows deep inside the fish and no cleaner will "remove" them.

I didn't really get the cleaner shrimp hoping to cure whatever might be wrong with my tang. I got him hoping that the tang would start approaching the cleaner rather than chasing my six line all over the tank.

Good to know about the coral banded with a cleaner, I'd say this might be for the best then since I like coral banded shrimp more than cleaners, but after this incident I'm not about to go putting another innocent shrimp in my tank.
