Clam in Nano Cube

    Could a clam live in a 28 gallon quad cf nano cube? Is that enough light? Its 105 watts of power compact lighting.

    By design, the CF/PC is relatively low on PAR. You could, however, upgrade your hood to MH or T5HO. (IIRC, the stock LED hood is also lacking; however, there are replacement LED retrofit kits available.)

    A Derasa will do fine in a JBJ with stock PC lighting. Get a larger clam and make sure you change out the bulbs every 6 months. I have kept Maxima as well but I do not recommend it nor Crocea. A Squamosa might be fine as well but again do not start out with a small clam.
