Clam in a 20 long

    For a clam in a 20L I would suggest a 4X 24w T5HO light fixture.

    His fixture is plenty with any clam. I have two 18w t5HOs on a 24 nano and I have kept all kinds of clams on the bottom including maximas.

    Ahhh, the good ol' clam lighting debate. I think you will be just fine keeping a clam in a 20L considering it is only 12" tall.

    You do not need halides, LED's or an obviously exagerated 8bulb T5HO fixture to have clams. With the proper placement and care, you can keep clams under PC bulbs as well. I would not put a clam under T8 or non-HO T5HO lighting.

    +K Miles as long as you have the t5 HO fixture you are good to go.

    i agree should be enough. make sure your water quality is high as well. lights are only part of it
