Clam ID

    So, while I was at the DVRC Swap, I picked up a clam. I asked which ind it was, I was told, and I promptly forgot after 4 more hours of being there lol. Can someone help ID this guy so I know where to put it?

    The only reason it's not a big deal is because I have a space on the rock, and a space on the sand, so I have space regardless lol.

    I'm totally guessing here, but I'm going to guess a deresa. It looks like the colors are amazing!! (from what I can see)

    I'm by far no clam id person but it does look like a lot of the derasa pics I've been lookin at the past few days.

    Very nice clam btw!

    It is a derasa. However, to confirm that, we need a photo of where the foot comes out of the clam.

    It was thin, as shown in the pictures on the thread inwall linked. I already put it in the tank, so I don't want to pull it again; it's been through enough already from being prepped for the show and put into a tupperware then sitting in a cooler bag for ~5 hours IMO. Thanks for the help with the ID, and thanks for the compliments!
