CLAM for ME???

    I love clams i thignk they are awsome and one love to have one but is it right for me?? i have a jbj nano tank 24 deluxe pc? would i even be able to keep a Derasa Clam??? if so what do i need to do to maintain???:confused: THANKS

    IMO No, you wouldnt be able to keep a clam. Any clam. How old is the tank?

    Not with that lighting in that size of a tank.. They suck up tons of calcuim among other things..

    +1. Ive been hesitant to add one to my 40 gallon because of that. And clams need LIGHTING!
    Also, isnt this tank fairly new? Clams should be added way, WAY, down the road IMO

    I personaly would not get a clam unless I had MH's. There are some ppl that have clams under T-5. Read up on them. Luna

    not under pc, but t5 are fine. I'm keepn three clams in a 15 gal with sps and everything is growing. I only dose once a week.
