    BoostLED Shimmer Video

Here is the video that I promised everyone of the shimmer the BoostLEDs produce. Let me know what you gals & gals think. As you can see, the single EagleEye polyp is opened up wide & loving it.

Just to give everyone an idea of what the flow is, the down spout is 1 1/4" PVC going to a 1" bulkhead, then 1" PVC/Flexible PVC going into the sump. My return is 3/4" PVC/Flexible PVC. I'm using a MAG 7 pump that is running wide open. As you can see in the video it's running pretty quite without loud water noise.

I wonder if ceramic sockets might be a good choice when you get to mounting them. They're usually good for 150w. Nice colour I'm looking into them as we speak.;D

Thanks, those sockets are rated for 300W! ;) I wanted something that could take the heat & wear 'n tear...

Correction, the reflector I took off is labeled 300W, the socket at 250V is rated at 660W. I bought them at Lowes priced $16.00, but since the reflectors were dented they gave me 10% off. No bad since I was taking off the reflector anyways. Plus the wire is nice and heavy duty.

Very Nice computer John!! I FINALLY finished my wooden canopy this weekend lol...and will post pics taken from my Iphone when I have the chance. Lowe's was my source for the project as well.I was mindful of heat withstanding components but they didn't have ceramic sockets that could be mounted against a flat surface...Soo mine are plastic. Rest assured I'll be keeping an eye on them ;).
