Well just thought i would ask i am sure it is normal however not 100% Sure. My Blue/Green Chromis hides at night in the same corner near the heater and his color really fades. Once the lights come on he is back out and in action again. Is this normal or might it be becuase he is the only one in the tank?

    You can see him here

Well they are schooling fish, so he might be kind of lonely. But fish usually have their special night time sleeping spot. So if he acts fine during the day, then I'm sure he's fine!

perfectly normal, most small reef fish take to the rocks at night. Many actually wedge themselves in pretty tight to avoid being moved by currents. The fading of color is probably due to lack of high intensity light, not the actual fish changing, just how you see them.

if you do go to the LFS buy two more of them they are schooling which means they like odd numbers most people have 3 5 or 7 depending on tank size
