    what is better? making a chiller or buying one? my tank is pretty much at 78 degrees F. i want to grow acropoura and i heard that you need your tank at 76 degrees or cooler. please let me know what to do. what are some good chillers on the market?

    I have a mainly SPS tank and I keep the temp at 79 F. If you can maintain 78F through out the summer months I would think you do not need a chiller. I have never heard that 76 is the Ideal temp for SPS before.
