This was my saving grace, corals, fish and inverts are still here for a couple more hours.

This tank actually holds about 38 gallons. I made a lot of extra water and boy am I glad I did.

As soon as it clears I will finish moving move the fish, corals and inverts over.

I know this is small compared to most of your tanks but it's look like a giant to me.

Right before the transfer. Good bye tide pool.

It's always so sad when you have to go to a deeper tank. But more room is more room. I'm always along for the ride, nice to have someone else as interested in acropora.

I just went ahead and ordered a 40b I'll keep in my garage for you. I'm going to pay for it by taking bets on how long it takes you to work your way up to a corner 500 with a shark... And maybe lasers.

Thank you and I am very glad you are following.

    Oh you're funny! :p

    But I did grin.:D

I used to have a 600 gallon tank at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa with a huge Puffer named Pete, who would spit water at me to get my attention.

Do we need to start a betting thread? A pool so to speak LOL (google says I am old if I still use LOL)

    Yeah I know.

It was going to be 8 months old.

I wanted more depth and more fish so I went just a little bigger. Same tank just bigger and much taller.

Running the LED at max of 70% was still too much, now I have different zones to play with. More flow too with dual pumps. This tank holds like 38 gallons I am guessing because I put a lot of water in it.

    It's really really cool. I am a happy camper!:D

So, what's going to be the coronation coral for this tank? The first coral to celebrate a new tank...

    Thanks you. :)
There will be a first fish but no more coral as you can see it has enough coral, they just need to grow. I need to work out some placements but it's going well and there really is no more room for acropora, now zoanthids might be a different story or encrusting montipora.

    Thanks Zesty.

The tank has not cleared yet but close, I love it.
