I have a t5 aquaticlife with 4 bulbs. I still have the stock bulbs and would like to change them to ATI bulbs. My plan is 2 coral plus, 1 blue plus and 1 purple plus. I am currently keeping sps,lps and zoas. I would like some opinions on this combination. What are the advantages of the coral plus over the Aquablue special bulbs. I want good coral growth and like the bluish color.

I just reloaded my 6 bulb T5...2 blue plus 2 purple plus and changed to the 2 coral plus insted of the 2 aquablue speacials..seems to be not as bright..as the aquablue washed out the blue+ and the purple+ a bit...jmo I love them.

Coral plus is a whiter bulb, I believe. Your combo sounds good. Put the blue plus in the front for a bluer look.

I use 2 Coral Plus and 2 Blue Plus on my 75. The Coral Plus is a light lavender-pink in color and Purple Plus is reddish purple. You will most likely have a reddish looking tank.

Maybe i'll use 2coral plus and 2 blue plus. I don't want my tank to look to red. Does the blue plus promote coral growth or are they more for coral colorization?

I saw 2in10s advice on using an even number of coral plus and blue plus right before I switched back to t5s. It sounded good and I went with it. I love it; it looks just right.

+1 to 2 in 10's combination. I have it on my tank and it's "just right." Love it!
