Check out a place like this:
    Glasscages.com - Tank Frames
^although they only have listed frames for 55, 40 breeder, and 90 gallon at the upper range, they might be able to get you one if you call them. If not, perhaps they can direct you to someone who does sell new tank frames for a 75.

Cut a piece of Plexiglas the length of the brace. Go to hardware store and buy 4 1/4 x 1" Nylon bolts and nuts and some 30 minute epoxy.
Drill through the Plexi and the brace by holding the plexi under the brace two 1/4" hole in each end. using a liberal amount of epoxy in between
the bottom of the brace and the top of the plexi, bolt the plexi to the brace using the nylon bolts and nuts. spread the excess that squeezes out along the length of the side of the braces. If you do it this way there is no worry about rust and it will hold just as well as the steel
    and it looks nice too

    Borrow one from a buddy..
You need a drill, to mod your stand, work around the house. etc..

I have used the right sized screwdriver, heated it.. melted holes and sanded the flash away..
But this really isn't the way to do it..And you have to be VERY CAREFUL .. !!!

Mark it, take it to a buddys house and have him drill the holes right..
Go by a garage, machine shop,etc..
Or spend 30.00 for a desent one.. I can't live with out one..

    Good Luck, Larry
