How long have you had it? What is your tank environment like? I was looking at one last weekend very similar. I had one go belly up on me a few months ago. I don't think it was Australian. Out didn't even make it through acclimation.

it new to my tank, had it for roughly a couple months now if I'm not mistaken, its my second attempt at one. had one prior a while back that lasted less than a week :s. this one came infested with flatworms but luckily i was able to clear her out. she seems happy for the moment but I'm aware that its not a long term guarantee. past the 6 month line ill feel much more confident.

not sure what you mean by environment but its placed on my sand bed away from my rocks and glass giving ample room to spread out.

not sure where it was collected (mea culpa)

I was just wondering if there were any special environmental considerations that will keep this critter happy. I have to say it looks like yours is doing good. I'm a bit jealous but I think I'll wait to get one till I get my tank more stable.
